photography + videography

Weddings, family, special occasions
Capturing real moments, real emotion, and the people you care about, with a calm, relaxed approach.
What to Expect
I focus on candid, natural moments and genuine emotion. The in between pieces are often the ones that matter most.
Most people are not used to being photographed, and they should not have to be. My approach is built around helping you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease so what is captured feels real rather than forced.
I aim to take the pressure off feeling like you need to know what to do in front of the camera. I pay attention to when guidance is needed and when it is not, stepping in to support you and stepping back to let genuine moments happen.
About Me
I’m Sophie, photographer, videographer, and someone who understands how it feels to be on both sides of the camera.
I’ve experienced weddings from all sorts of angles:
as the bride, maid of honour, bridesmaid, musician, guest, wedding dance choreographer, and now as a photographer and videographer. That means I understand the flow of a wedding day, the quiet moments that matter, and the chaos that can pop up when timelines shift. I know when to step in, when to step back, and how to capture moments without turning your day into a photoshoot.
While I’m still building my portfolio, I bring a deep understanding of weddings, a creative eye, and a genuine care for telling your story honestly and beautifully.

Can we meet you before booking?
Yes, absolutely! You can meet me either in person or virtually to chat about your wedding, family session, or special occasion. For weddings, the engagement session is included in all main packages, so you’ll get to experience working with me as part of your booking. If you’d like to meet and try a session before committing to full wedding coverage, you can also book the engagement session separately for $250. This is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and see my approach in action.
Do you provide a full ceremony recording?
At the moment, I do not provide full uncut ceremony recordings with high-end audio, as I am still building my videography offerings. However, for an extra $100, I can provide an uncut video of your ceremony recorded from a basic camera setup. This gives you a complete keepsake of your ceremony, though it will use the audio captured by the camera itself and will not include professional audio.
The main wedding film, included in the videography package, is a cinematic collection of highlights from your day, thoughtfully edited to capture the story and emotion of your wedding.
How much is the deposit?
A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking. This is due within 7 days of signing the contract to lock in your date.
Do you offer prints and photo books?
Yes! I’m happy to put together a photobook featuring a selection of photos from your wedding. This is a great way to have a keepsake you can look back on and share with family and friends, and it saves you the time and effort of putting it together yourself.
